What is NAMCI?

NAMCI is a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) serving employees and their families throughout North Alabama for over 10 years. A PPO is a network of hospitals, physicians, and other medical providers which have agreed to provide high quality medical care to members at a reduced cost. PPO's offer the member cost savings when using the PPO providers while maintaining the members ability to choose care from other providers.

Health plans that feature a PPO have numerous benefits which include the following:

• Overall healthcare costs are typically lower and thus premiums are less expensive than traditional indemnity plans.
