About Us

NAMCI (North Alabama Managed Care, Inc.), headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, was founded in 1991 as a not-for-profit Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) servicing the North Alabama area. Since that time, NAMCI has expanded coverage through affiliate partnerships to provide statewide and regional network coverage.

Our goal is to partner with dedicated, local providers to deliver a broad network, easy access to care, and documented cost savings to members, employers, and insurance plans. NAMCI participates in quality care partnerships that evaluate best practice programs and resources to increase awareness of health, diagnostic screening tools, and hospitals focused on meeting the needs of the communities they serve.

NAMCI’s select network of Health Care Providers includes Primary Care Physicians, Specialty Physicians and Hospitals as well as a wide range of Ancillary Providers. These include Radiologists, Oncologists, Chiropractors, Optometrists, Podiatrists, Physical Therapy and Radiology facilities, Home Health Care Agencies, Durable Medical Equipment Providers, Behavioral Health Counselors and Psychiatrists, Chemical Dependency Recovery Facilities, Psychiatric Hospitals and Kidney Dialysis Centers.
